We finally have the new WisBlock modules that will help you increase data security, and save your data locally on your device. We also created new sensors and a new type of touchscreen display.

At RAKwireless, we always try to make IoT easier for you and your projects, and we hope these five new modules will do that for you.

RAK14014 TFT Display

You might have seen this display from our RAK10701 Field Tester. The RAK14014 is a 240x320 pixel full-color TFT display with a touch screen and backlighting. Use it easily with its single-chip TFT-LCD controller FT6336 from Focal Tech which Arduino libraries support. Plus, the TFT display is mounted to a protective glass for our Unify enclosure.

RAK5814 Encryption Module

Using the Microchip ATECC608A, this module is the perfect companion if you need to secure your data before sending it over LoRa, WiFi, or BLE by decrypting them.

It integrates ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman) security protocol, an ultra-secure method to provide the agreement for encryption/decryption, and ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) sign-verify authentication.

  • Internal high-quality FIPS 800-90 A/B/C Random Number Generator (RNG)

RAK13011 Magnetic Switch

This module is ideal for applications related to the opening and closing status of windows and doors, or even for the passage of objects in a production line. Using a simple Reed relay that reacts on the proximity of a magnet, it outputs a single signal that is high or low, depending on the status of the Reed relay. RAK15004 FRAM Module

Introducing our Fujitsu MB85RC512T FRAM memory module as an alternative to our Flash, EEPROM, and SD card modules. Often, it is necessary to store data locally on a non-volatile memory on WisBlock. The FRAM technology offers advantages over Flash, EEPROM, and SD card modules with its low power, lifetime, and a superior number of write cycles.

RAK12022 PT100 Temperature Sensor

Designed for rough environments, the PT100-type temperature sensors are perfect for industrial applications. This module has the MAX31965 resistance to digital converter. It is optimized for platinum resistance temperature detectors. The module supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire PT100 sensors and has an SPI interface.

You can purchase the RAK12022 PT100 temperature sensor module combined with a PT100 sensor. You may also use your sensors, as an interface module only.

RAK12052 IR Array Sensor Module

RAK12052 is a 32x24 IR module based on MLX90640 from Melexis. The MLX90640 is a fully calibrated 32x24 pixels thermal IR array in an industry-standard 4-lead TO39 package with a digital interface. It's like those fancy thermal cameras, but compact and simple enough for easy integration, just in low resolution.
